Gentian LIMS

Gentian is a new and innovative Laboratory Information Management System from McLane Advanced Technologies. The software was developed as a full-featured, efficient tool for data entry and case review for a laboratory environment.  Featuring a task-based user interface and cutting edge web technology, Gentian is easily accessible from a web browser with ultimate flexibility in mind.

The system can also be easily modified to meet customer specific requirements, by either adding custom modular enhancements or adjusting facets of the existing application.  Gentian can be used in a variety of labs from forensics to water treatment.  

You may ask how we came up with the name for this LIMS product?  Gentian violet is the dye extracted from the petals of the gentian flower that is commonly used in the lifting of fingerprints for evidence gathering.  This is where the “Gentian” name and logo color for the MAT LIMS software was derived.
